Kerry Fox is currently the Director of Continuous Improvement and Plant Manager for Grand Rapid Foam Technologies; an $80 million dollar privately help company. GRFT has 3 manufacturing sites, 2 in Grand Rapids and 1 in South Texas.
Kerry’s career started as an engineer for a polyurethane reaction injection molding company. As he continued to grow his career he moved into and was promoted to Director of Program Management for Donnelly Corporation a “Top 10 to Work For” organization. Working closely with Russ Scaffede a former VP of Operations for Toyota Engine Plant and Art Smalley, one of the first Americans to work for Toyota in Japan Kerry began his lean journey and gained a firsthand understanding of the cultural nuances of lean systems. Taking the learning from Scaffede and Smalley Kerry lead 4 manufacturing sites for Magna International before moving on to a Vp of Operations for Yorozu Corporation. Kerry continued his personal journey in pursuit of Lean Cultures while managing 4 manufacturing sites for Haworth Corporation with the focus being “Leadership, Lean, Lean Leadership”.
Kerry is an avid cyclist and photographer. In his down time you can find or maybe pass him on one of his 50 mile fun rides.
