Message from the Chair - February 2018
Winter is still here!!!
As mentioned during our first ASQ Presents event of the year; the section leadership committee will be working diligently to improve recent gaps in communication and updates. We are seeking individuals who may be interested in volunteering to assist in bringing about the improvements and welcome the collaboration with our section members.
February’s ASQ Presents brings an opportunity to share insight into an area of ‘quality’ that is outside of traditional manufacturing and service fields and brings our focus to an intriguing subject matter. We look forward to you joining us to hear a presentation on “Eye Opening Quality” from Dr. Lee Ann Weitekamp.
She received her M.D. from Medical College of Wisconsin and is Board Certified in Clinical Pathology and Transfusion Medicine.
During her nearly twenty-five year career in Transfusion Medicine, first at BloodCenter of Wisconsin and then at Michigan Blood, Dr. Weitekamp has served as an NMDP Donor Center Medical Director.
